A little about my pet...
Here is our new senior rescue Pointer from Indiana. Bailey was found as a stray and wound up at the Newton County Shelter. The owner didn't even know she was gone for 2 days and surrendered her because she could no longer hunt due to her blindness. Our wonderful foster mom Maggie volunteered to take her in and with the help of Pilot Dave, (who took the photo) she is now in Minnesota. Bailey is around 12 years old according to some old vetting paperwork. Blood work in August revealed she was anemic and her white blood cell count was below normal. She has a little bit of kidney disease and she has gained 5lbs in with Maggie. We assume she has at least Lyme disease as that can cause vision loss and the other issues in her blood work. She is loving her new life. Vote for Bailey!
