Buckwheat has been with me since the early days of Illinois Birddog Rescue. He's been my rock, my support, the tail wag at the end of a hard day. BW also helped me through the losses Lani, Clancy, Daisy and Boonie from February through June of this year. BW was keeping Boonie calm in the car when we were on our way to the vet to check his ailing health. During that car ride- I secured the rescue and transport of Teenie and Weenie who were going to be killed in an over -crowded shelter the next day. These little girls have brought so much Pointer joy back to my life this year and are the little spark plugs that show me everyday why I do what I do to save dogs. $5,000 raised would pay of most of IBR's current vetting debt.
