This is Sahara, aka "Tiny". Our sweet girl who left us earthside in July. She was a part of our family for almost 8 years. We miss her so much, & this photo encapsulates her being.
We met her when I started in animal welfare. She was emaciated & scared - peeing with every pet. She had me immediately. We took her home & watched her thrive. Her sister Luna (who she didn't really love at all), passed unexpectedly in 2017. To our surprise, we brought doofus Dax home shortly after, & the rest was...beautiful. 2 best friends. Never apart. Loving every moment together.
The "adventures of Tiny & Daxhole" was a real thing. The most loving, loyal, funny, quirky girl (we used to worry about her actual mental health; she was a little "extra" quirky!). She found her best life through him.
We miss her so.
