I adopted Mai-Lo (then spelled Milo) in October 2016, six months after my husband had passed away, along with James Corden (then known as Bugsy, also a Harbor Human adoptee on the same day), to fill a void in my life. Mai-Lo was a real challenge the first year or so, breaking things, climbing on valences and pulling them from the walls, but I told him he wasn't going anywhere, he belonged with me and his new feline brother James. He was quite stand-offish. He has become the biggest snuggle-bug.
