Emmie is new to our family and her life until now hasn't been great. We believe she was a bait dog as she is covered in scars and missing all of her teeth on her lower left jaw. She is very skittish and the world is pretty scary for her. But, with a lot of love and patience, she is slowly coming out of her shell. Her past may not have been very kind or pretty, but she's such a sweetheart and she has an incredibly beautiful soul. Her future is going to be just beautiful! I promised her her first night with us that she'll never know an ounce of pain or hurt again and I'll see to it. She deserves nothing but the best.
