Sushi unexpectedly came into my life when I came to Harbor Human Society with a friend who was adopting Sushi’s littermate! I held her in my arms and knew immediately she was my cat. At the time, I had my 19 year-old cat, Mickey. Mickey was not fond of Sushi, as she enjoyed her many naps and Sushi enjoyed interrupting those naps. Mickey passed in May of 2022 and piece of my heart passed with her. I soon met Georgie and the two girls got along seamlessly. Sassy Georgie tells Sushi who is queen bee and the two of them are constantly getting into mischief. They both enjoy scratching their posts, getting on the counters (their mom has given up trying to stop them), watching the birds in the morning from the window perch, and getting the zoomies at 3 a.m. I would not have it any other way.
