My beagle’s story or bio
Gunner was on the euthanasia list in Kentucky. He was a heartworm positive senior beagle and had no future until HLBR rescued him and asked if we could foster him.

It took many months for him to come out of his shell and he bonded tightly with our 3 year old Golden Retriever. We decided to adopt him rather than risk having him shut-down if placed in another home. He now spends his time on the farm being a bed buddy, taking long naps on the futon with the 16yr old Jack Russell, and playing with the Golden and other rescue hounds we've "foster-failed."
