Zack was purchased from the local slaughter auction. he had been to 4 auctions in 4 states in 9 months, starting in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and then Montana. He is a Paso breed horse. when we searched out one of his prior owners they had sent him to auction after a horse tripping contest. he was untrainable per them. Zack has now been with us for 6 years. he now takes treats from our hands but that human touch is still to be achieved. Maybe one day he will trust that far, maybe not. its ok
