Your Pet's Story or Bio
I fostered Willy out of the Orangeburg Humane Society through GSGRR. He was a hot mess! He was not fixed and was also heartworm positive. I fostered him with the full intention as we all do of passing them on. However, he is one smart, smart dog. I worked with him for an entire year for a service dog. Did one year in training, got him licensed, and then I had knee surgery and kidney surgery so I needed him myself. We are together 24 /7. Sometimes I need him and sometimes I don’t but he always needs me and I love him for that. He has traveled cross-country two times in our RV, all the way out west all the way to the extreme north point of Washington. He has been hiking and loved every minute of it.
