Your Pet's Story or Bio
We got Nash from GSGRR on Nov. 2017. He was 8 mo. old at the time. Our understanding was that someone dropped off a Mom and 3 puppies beside an Interstate near Myrtle Beach and drove away. Nash is one of those puppies. I believe those 4 dogs ran loose near that Interstate and starved for about a month, until someone called GSGRR to come get them.

We were told that Nash (then Roscoe) was so afraid of people, when caught, that he would freeze and shiver around people unless another dog was present.

Today Nash is totally over his fear of people and loves everyone that he meets.

The GSGRR Vet's guess at the time was that Nash is half Boykin Spanial and half Golden Retriever. He has a chocolate coat and gold eyes, apparently from tlhe Boykin side.
