Hours before 2022 became 2023, I was granted a golden wish. Dakota Kai was her given name, and Enid is who my champagne dream from that NYE became. She and her sister, Leiney, are both rescues from different places in hell. Enid is your typical golden with an extreme love in her heart that places her at the top of her class. Meek, timid and completely unaware of how a true "family dog" should behave, Leiney gracefully stepped into her big sister role and quickly taught Enid that toys are meant to play with, beds were meant for hogging, cars led to adventures, and humans provided love and support. Enid suffered her first epileptic episode in March 2023. Despite the magnitude of her seizure, once coming back to, she immediately greeted her medical team and family with kisses. Always a lover girl. The best "foster failure" there ever was!
