Phoebe was tied up with little food and water and no dog house. I asked the owners if I could have her and they agreed. I kept Phoebe for about 11 years. She died while I was on vacation in March 2024. The sweetest dog I ever owned. She had joint problems but seemed healthy. She loved people and animals. She was so quiet and loving to my other dogs but she would never leave my side. Did she die because she missed me so much? I will never know. All she ever wanted was to be beside me. Still hurts like crazy. What a wonderful dog. God I hope there is a heaven for dogs. That's where I want to be when I die beside Phoebe.
