Logan was given up due to his desire to run. After several running incidences, his owners gave him up to GRRR, pretty much at the same time we were driving back to Michigan after an unsuccessful meeting with a potential adoptee named Lucky. While on the phone in the car to pass on taking Lucky, GRRR mentioned a newly-arrived opportunity and sent a picture. Love at first sight, we too Logan immediately and he has been one of the smartest and sweetest rescues we've ever had. Initially shy, refusing to go into the basement or garage, he relaxed over the following week and became our best buddy. He still will not venture into the basement for anything, and we think basements were punishment in his past and don't force the issue. Logan is our "right place / right time" dog, and we marvel that anyone would give him up.
