A little about me...
Cupcake was a puppy mill momma turned into GRRNT at age 12! We adopted her b/c we have huge soft spots in our hearts for the Golden Oldies and she was already older than our last 3 golden rescues had lived and she had no real health issues. Lastly, my husband admitted that his nickname as a teased young boy was Cupcake, so we thought it was fate that brought her to us! (BTW- he’s not a “cupcake” - he’s a combat-hardened former Air Force fighter pilot with a big heart). We’ve been privileged to be her family for a year and a half now, and she’s still going strong! Every day with her is a blessing and she is the happiest, sweetest dog we have ever loved. And we’re on Golden rescue number 6, so we have experience.
