Gemma was rescued within an hour of getting "put down". She also was pregnant and delivered three healthy puppies. One puppy was still born. We traveled to Louisville to get her where she was being fostered by Judy. (Judy did a great job fostering Gemma and her puppies!) She was depleted after giving birth to her puppies. We took her home to Cincinnati where she has gained weight, became healthier, and has adjusted so well. She is thriving and has become the best dog to walk and keeps the squirrels out of our yard when we fill up the bird-feeder. I can't thank GRAAND enough for saving Gemma. She has brought joy to our family again after our Bernese Mountain dog died on St. Patrick's Day in 2022. We our so blessed and thankful for this beautiful dog!!!
