The International Documentary Film is scheduled to be released in the 2017 Christmas season but not guaranteed .Upon completion The Documentary will be entered in Film Festivals around the world promoting Greyhound adoption and spreading the word about how wonderful greyhounds are.
100% of the net proceeds from this fun-raising GREYHOUND MOVIE STAR SEARCH Contest will support the Beyond Wonderful Fund ( a special fund set up to help greyhounds in eligible programs worldwide , the 2
nd Chance at Life Prison Partnership program, and participating Adoption Group Associate Producer partners.
Prizes for the Film:
The GRAND PRIZE: The Greyhound Star Search Contest top three(3) winners in each of five (5) categories: COMPANION pets, WORKING Greyhounds (Therapy, Service, Racing, other Programs); International Greyhounds (Countries outside of the US) Prison Trained Greyhounds; and RAINBOW BRIDGE greyhounds (In memory of) will be selected by VOTES from you, your team and your friends and be eligible for inclusion in the Documentary, Calender or Booklet.
- The three (3) top winning Greyhounds in each category will be eligible to be featured in the International Documentary Film, GREYHOUNDS: BEYOND WONDERFUL.
- Winners in all categories will be featured on the www.4greyhounds.org website and social media pages.
- The top five winners in each category will be eligible to attend a special filming scene at a greyhound gathering Event during the year, event to be selected from participating event throughout the year.
- Each entrant will receive a FREE Gift of surprise items for your greyhound declaring it , I AM A GREYHOUND BEYOND WONDERFUL.
Grand Prize Winners must be willing to participate in a filming session with the production team either in their home,
at a Greyhound Event or another location to be determined for the convenience of the greyhound and its owner.
