The story behind this photo....
Tank used to be the guard dog at the auto body shop where Mandy's foster dad Malcolm works. Tank is semi-retired and goes to work Monday to Friday with Malcolm and stays in the office since he is too old for the nights in the compound. So we foster him week nights and weekends and he loves his freedom on the farm.

No one can believes that Tank was a guard dog because he is a friendly big giant as Mandy found out. However, he didn't tolerate bitey-face or tug-of-war on his tail but otherwise was patient with Mandy.

When younger she loved to climb over him and lie on him. Now, whenever she gets a chewie, she goes and lies beside him. As well she enthusiastically greets him at home or when we go to the shop.

Tank likes the canine company on the walks and patiently waits for her.

Tank has helped Mandy learn that not all dogs want to "puppy play".
