We adopted Emmett from the Lifeline puppy rescue in Brighton, Colorado in November of 2021. He was about 8 weeks old. He grew very quickly. In fact in, from late December 2021 to early March 2022 he added about 30 lbs. This caused a lot of stress on his ligaments and joints. He had partial ligament tears in both of his rear legs which required one TPLO surgery in November of ‘22 and the second in January of “23. He is doing well now and is about 141 lbs down from 145 lbs. He loves swimming but has a lot of soreness after an active day. He has his own Facebook page, The Adventures of Emmett.
