We adopted Ginger in October of 2022 from Rescue K-911 in Kansas City. At the time we weren't planning on adopting because I had just moved my parents closer to me to take care of their declining health. BUT, it turns out adopting Ginger was the best decision we've made. She instantly became a family member. She lights up the room, best camp counselor, best friend & a breath of fresh air. She filled a hole we didn't know we had & helped us navigate major change by bringing out all kinds of love!
