Kiryu came from the mean streets of Wichita when my friend TNR'ed him almost a year ago. She asked if anyone wanted this Very Not Feral stray and I said yes. His gotcha day is on October 7th, he's been named Pet Of The Month at my apartment complex, he's obsessed with fried chicken, and he's the sweetest and floofiest kitty I have ever met. Seeing him come to the door when I get home is the best part of my day by far! And yes, he does look like the saddest, most pitiful little baby in the whole world about 50% of the time.
