Pet's Story
I was sent several photos about a group of 4 dogs needing foster homes. I did a double take when I saw this fierce looking tri-color. I had always wanted a tri-color but figured it would have to be a pitbull since they don’t typically come in boxers… I immediately agreed to foster her!

20 minutes before I was supposed to leave to drive and hour to go get her I fell and fractured my ankle. I STILL made the drive and it was the best choice I ever made. I was expecting a big, bulky looking girl. What I got was a tiny, terrified, skinny girl with fleas. I picked her up and put her in my car and knew immediately she was nine for good. One look into her scared eyes and I was sunk.

It wasn’t an easy journey. Kizzy was exceptionally difficult to potty train and could not seem to understand that the cat was not a toy…but she made up for it in being the sweetest girl. It’s taken her a few years but she now greets everyone who comes into the house with excitement and wiggles! She is still a big scaredy girl away from home but we manage. She is so snuggly and absolutely adores her little brother. I could not imagine my life without my sweet girl.
