Fluffy
Short Bio or Description
Fluffy was a feral cat living in a colony with four other cats in the bushes and anywhere else he could find shelter. It is a rough life for cats , even on Marco Island. I am a colony feeder and have been for 17 years. Fluffy was affectionate and I could see his eyes and the other four sets of eyes glowing in the dark waiting for me to come down the alley with dinner. Many thanks to "For The Love Of Cats" founders Jim and Jan Rich who supplied me with cat food over the years to feed the feral colony and thanked me over and over for loving and caring for the homeless kitties. Volunteers have also trapped, spayed, neutered and released every feral cat they can find back to where they live. I have personally adopted feral kittens from the no kill shelter over the years and encourage others to do the same. Fluffy has gone to cat heaven where he will never be hungry or scared again. But Sabrina, Mango, Scratchy and Tortie have taken his place as they wait in the dark alley with glowing eyes for me to bring dinner. Back at my house, Midnight, Buddy and Scooter, also homeless, appear outside my door from where ever they find shelter during the day. I wish every kittie had a forever home. I am only one of many volunteers who feed the homeless cats on Marco Island. God Bless.
