Pet's Story or Bio
After the passing of two much beloved elderly cats, we mourned for several months and tried to see if we could be successful living cat-less. The experiment failed, and we decided to pursue new feline companions, preferably one middle-aged, settled cat. A summer of online research led us to possibilities at Gifford. While visiting the shelter, we discovered that our cats of choice were still enrolled in Charm School. Before leaving, we decided to stop at the kitten nursery and were instantly adopted by not one, but two wee lads, Kipper (a.k.a. Costello) and his brother Abbott. These bonded brothers, who bring us great joy each day, have been well-loved and loving members of our family for the past four and a half years. Without their mischief and magic, life would be unimaginable.
