Ruby has been with us only for a few months, but it has been a joy to see her let her guard down more and more. She is a very smart cat. She has more emotional intelligence than i've seen in any cat before(and some humans too). If she sees you dealing with a particularly hard emotional low point, she always makes sure to come over and sit on your lap. Its impressive really because she sits on laps pretty rarely so far, but whenever I or my wife need a bit extra support shes there.
