A little about me...
I met this charming young man while looking for a small, female, short-haired kitten. I visited many shelters, Gifford included, but had trouble meeting "my" cat. Then I walked by an enclosure with three kittens in it who were having their breakfast. The second time I walked past, one of the kittens stared me down. Long-haired boy, twice the size of any other kitten I've seen his age. Despite there being other people around, he stared directly at me. I asked to meet him, and as soon as a shelter employee opened the gate and I approached to say "Hi", this guy flopped over onto his back and stuck his belly out at me. I knew immediately it was hopeless to try to resist fate. That is how I ended up with the exact opposite cat from what I was looking for, and never regretted it for a second.
