Share a memory of your best friend and/or how they've helped you this past year (60 words or less):
I fostered GTHS Northern dogs while going through cancer treatments this year. When I first met him, Journey melted quickly in my arms and I melted at his response! In the midst of his energentic littermates, he remained calm, peaceful, loving, and tender at all times. He was an old soul. He was named Journey as a reminder of how his qualities are so helpful along our life's journey. At 5 months of age, JJ was diagnosed with Addison's disease and passed away within only a couple days of the first signs. This beloved dog made a significant impact on our lives and we are so thankful we were able to love him for the course of his short life.
