Ivy (Ivy Lee) was on the euthanasia list in Houston, arriving at a shelter extremely terrified at just 1 year old. Thankfully she was rescued and fostered in Houston and later transported to MA through GBP and fostered with another amazing hero. Their social posts caught my eye and I fell in love with this sweet girl, who just needed patience and love. We had recently adopted a puppy in February and GBP said Ivy would be best as a second dog. After much thought, we applied to adopt Ivy. We set up a meet and greet and it was love at first sight—for us and for the pups! It's a slow process, but Ivy has made strides in her confidence, and we can't wait to watch her continue to blossom. We are so grateful to everyone who took part in her rescue!
