Pet's Story or Bio
Barney just turned 14 yrs. old. He is a Lhasa Apso. We rescued him from a pet store when he was 6-months old & too big for his cage. We were looking for a companion for our English Bulldog. We checked out breeders, & newspaper ads and after each unsuccessful day out we returned to the pet store to play with Barney. Finally, his cost was the same as a rescue adoption and we brought him home. Barney & our Bulldog, China became real buddies until China passed in 2013. Barney has since welcomed Charlie a rescued Cock-a-poo and Roxy, a recued toy poodle from Furry Friends.
Barney, is a "Good Boy"! Those are his favorite words. He trembles when it thunders and tries to find a place to hide. He is very verbal & tells us when he needs to go out. He loves to take long walks and he tells us when it's time for dinner. He watches TV with us & wakes us in the morning.
