Ginger is a FurKid alum who was rescued from a high kill shelter in West Virginia. At the time of her rescue she was 10 years old and pregnant. Shortly after she had her puppies, she was diagnosed with diabetes.
Ginger found her forever family in June of 2015. She has her blood glucose checked twice daily and is a trooper when getting her insulin shots.
Ginger adores her family, which includes 3 cat siblings. Her favorite toys are her little ducky and her pink hedgehog, and she loves to snuggle in bed under the covers.
Ginger's family loves her immensely. It is hard to believe that she's a senior, diabetic. She's a tiny dog with a huge personality!
