Brother Kitty came to me when he was about 4 weeks old. He had been trapped with his mother and 4 litter mates. His litter mates found homes, but no one wanted his mother. After recently losing Sister Kitty, my sweet companion rescue cat of 15 years, the time felt right to open my home to these two who were in desperate need of TLC and a safe haven. Reeking of urine and riddled with fleas, I got them cleaned up and gave them a peaceful, safe and quiet place to settle in with all the food they could eat. They came around rather quickly, for feral cats. Once he was old enough, he was neutered, she was spayed and they got their vaccinations. They are fantastic cats...smart and playful. They have been a great addition to our family of people and pets and I am grateful for the timing of the opportunity to open my heart to new kitties in need after losing Sister Kitty. I'm guessing you know how he got the name Brother Kitty!
