Another beautiful shot of my Momo-her story again...Shortly after I sadly lost my first rescue cat I adopted when I was 15 years old, Momo came to me after being trapped with her litter of 5 kittens. She had been passed around to a few people who each took a kitten. They were skinny, feral, reeking of urine and riddled with fleas. I was able to get them cleaned up and got the fleas off of them within days. They were grateful for the food and quiet, peaceful place I provided them in their first days with me. A little handling everyday and they came around faster than I expected, with Momo sweetly pressing her head into my hands-affection I had not expected to receive so soon from a feral and frightened momma kitty. When her male kitten was old enough, and they were settled in, I had them vaccinated, spayed and neutered. That was a little over one year ago, and they have since proven to be the smartest and most beautiful cats I have known. After losing my 15 year old sweet and dear Sister Kitty, they provided me much comfort knowing I was able to make good on my promise to her that I would give the love I had for her to another.
