Pet's Story
My daughter called one day in the spring of 2006 while volunteering at the FSPCA and said, "I've found the dog for you! But he won't be here long so come on over." When she walked him out the door on lead it was love at first sight for both of us.
Chester had been returned to the shelter by a previous owner because of health issues of their child.
My partner was a bit reluctant at first because he'd lost his best buddy just the year before and said "I don't want to fall in love again." Well that was 8 years ago and he and Chester walk all around our neighborhood at Lake Monticello making friends wherever they go.
