Pet's Story or Bio
Indigo, or Indie for short, is an approximately 2 year old pit bull who was surrendered to Pitty Love Rescue VERY pregnant. Only 3 short days after coming to rescue, Indie gave birth to 11 beautiful puppies. Amazingly all survived and are thriving. She even spent a weekend with a litter of 11 orphaned puppies to make sure they had full bellies! Indie had been living in a foster home until her foster dad had to move out of state for work and is now unfortunately having to live in a boarding situation since none of our volunteers can safely take her at this time. She is curious about cats and chickens but does not show extensive prey drive. Indigo can easily jump a 4 foot fence so will need a home with a 6 foot privacy fence or an owner willing to supervise her on a tie out. Indigo is really an amazing dog and would fit into pretty much any household. She's got looks and personality!
