Rules

1. The pet costume and/or pet fall photo with the most votes/donations overall will win a $250 Visa gift card.
2. The runner up pet fall photo with the most votes/donations overall will win a $100 gift card to Chewy.
3. The runner up pet costume photo that receives the most votes/donations will win a $100 gift card to Chewy.  
4. Votes are $1 each. $20 will count for 20 Votes and $50 will count for 50 Votes, etc.
5. The winning photo may contain more than one pet. But each pet may only enter the contest once.
6. Photos of dogs, cats, horses, small mammals, reptiles and birds are acceptable.
7. Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater.)
8. Photos must only contain domestic pets (no people or wildlife.)
9. Photos must be of family owned pets only. Stock photos or pictures of pets that are available for adoption will not be accepted.
10. Submissions in loving memory of a pet are welcome, it is a great way to honor their legacy.
11. Photos must be full-color, no heavily filtered, edited or altered photos.
12. Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar.
13. All photos must be submitted through the online contest platform, physical photos or mail-in/hand-delivered photo entries will not be included.
14. All online photo entries must be submitted by 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, November 1, 2024.
15. Voting/donations will be accepted on the contest website from 9:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, October 7, 2024 until 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, November 8, 2024
16. If there is a tie in votes for either of the two category's top spots, the tie breaker will be determined by the individual who submitted their entry first and this will be displayed accordingly on the home page under the Leaderboard. The pets who are displayed as the top at the end of the competition on the home page under the leaderboard will be the final winners.
17. Photos become the property of Frankie’s Friends. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials.
18. Frankie’s Friends reserves the right to disqualify at any time any photo it determines to be unsuitable. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner. Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene will be removed from the contest.
19. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you. You agree to indemnify Frankie’s Friends and hold them harmless from and against any claims of any nature arising in connection with the Frankie’s Friends Contest. Entrants grant Frankie’s Friends all rights of ownership, reproduction and royalty-free indiscriminate use of entries and photographs for any purpose. By submitting a photo to the Frankie’s Friends Contest, the artist agrees to give and grant to Frankie’s Friends, its employees, nominees, agents, successors and assigns, unlimited authorization, consent and permission to publish and use, any and all information about the animal and any and all reproductions of animal's likeness (photographic or otherwise), and with or without the use or disclosure of guardian's name.

When submitting your pet's photo for voting, please keep in mind city bylaws and leash laws and keep your pets safe:

• Dogs are recommended to be shown wearing a collar and ID tag.
• Cats outdoors should be in a safe environment (preferably in an enclosure/ catio or with a harness on) wearing a collar and ID tag.
• Domestic birds and other small animals are recommended to be only photographed indoors.
