2025 Four Footed Friends Pet Photo Calendar Contest Official Rules
Your pet can help raise money for less fortunate dogs and cats by having his or her picture compete in the Four Footed Friends Inc. 2025 Pet Photo Calendar Contest!
Our contest is VIRTUAL. Photos must be submitted online between 7:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 and 7:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 8, 2024.
As a major fundraiser, FFF sells full-color pet calendars. The 12 photos (one for each month of the year) are selected from pet photographs submitted by individuals. HIGH QUALITY DIGITAL PHOTOS of all types of pets will be accepted by FFF. Our Project Team and Board of Directors will approve entry photos based on quality and appropriateness of subject matter. These semi-finalist photos will be displayed ONLINE for public voting by online donation.
The 12 photos generating the most funds will each be given a full-page spot on the printed 2025 Calendar, along with the owner's name(s) and the animal's name and description. The 36 top-earning runners-up will appear on the inside back page of the calendar.
At least one photo entry will also be selected based on photographic merit, and will be designated as the Judges' Choice winner.
Calendars will be available for sale to the public in autumn 2025. Purchase information will be provided. Owners of the 12 top-earning pet photos and the Judges' Choice winner(s) will each receive a complimentary copy.

(Entry deadline: 7:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 8, 2024)- Only one photo entry permitted per household.
- Entries must be uploaded at the link we'll provide via Facebook/Instagram and on our website; watch online for this link! When entering, please follow the onscreen instructions and make sure to provide all requested information, including the owner's name, complete mailing address, email address, and phone number, and the pet's name, gender, breed if known, and age.
- Digital images (.png or .jpg) from 1MB to 3MB+ in size are ideal for the calendar. Effective printing requires high-quality images and large file sizes. Photos should be 300 pixels per inch in resolution. Our Project Team cannot accept photos which do not meet these quality standards.
- PHOTO TIPS: Sharp, high-resolution color photos are required. Export the image from your phone or digital camera at the highest memory size possible. Please do not submit images that are blurred. Photos should also be well-lit and uncluttered. Plain (solid-color as opposed to patterned), light backgrounds work best. Outdoors/natural light is a good choice. The "focus" of the photo should be your pet! Our Project Team cannot accept photos which do not meet these quality standards.
- Owners should retain a copy of the digital image. No printed photo from the owner is needed by FFF.
- There should be no people in the photo submitted. Photos should NOT show signs of editing such as text, stickers, background removal, collage styles, etc. Photos that are HORIZONTAL/LANDSCAPE in orientation are preferred so that we can enlarge them in our 8 1/2 x 11 calendar if you win!
- Entries accepted for online display and voting will be notified either by email or phone. Decision of the Four Footed Friends Project Team and Board of Directors is final.
- Voting takes place from 7:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 through 7:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Voting by donation (at $1 per vote) will be done ONLINE via credit card. Website voting links will be provided and shared via social media and email. FFF will NOT operate any public in-person voting, but participants may fundraise however they wish. Donations (cash or check) may also be dropped off at FFF at 220 Beck Road, Indiana PA 15701-4727; please follow any requested safety guidelines. We ask that you call us at 724.349.1144 to arrange drop off of your donation. Make sure to note the NAME OF THE PET to whom the donation should be assigned, so that your votes COUNT! We must have your drop-off donation by NOON on the final day of voting (Wednesday, August 14) so that our calendar team has time to count it and log it into the website for an accurate, "LIVE" final tally at 7 PM.
- The top-earning photos generally bring in high donation amounts, so "fundraising" for your pet's photo is encouraged. FFF will provide helpful fundraising tips.
- Pets pictured on any previous FFF pet calendar ARE eligible to compete, but must be shown in a "new" photo.
