About Us
Four Footed Friends Inc. (FFF) was incorporated in 1982 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. We are now celebrating our 40th year of finding fur-ever homes for dogs and cats!
Our mission is to rescue and care for homeless or injured animals and then to find them happy, forever homes. Our home is a combined shelter for dogs and cats, located in White Township. We welcome transfer animals from the local Humane Society when its facilities are full. We are dedicated to caring for animals until loving, permanent homes can be found for them. (We euthanize only in cases of humane issues, such as serious injury or illness.)
Our other services include helping to pay for the work of a Humane Agent in Indiana County, so that cases of neglect, abuse, and animal cruelty can be properly investigated. In addition, FFF provides emergency vet care to homeless animals; promotes spaying and neutering; educates the public on animal care and welfare; and provides lost-and-found pet services.
Four Footed Friends is a 501 (c ) (3) organization and we receive no federal, state, or local funding. FFF relies totally on donations and fundraisers to continue our work of helping dogs and cats in need.
