Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Blackie and his brother JJ from Forte Animal Rescue when they were 4 months old. Blackie is now 15! We lost his brother, JJ last year but Blackie’s getting extra one-on-one time so he’s happy and doing well. He sleeps a lot but turns into a puppy when it’s time for his daily walk. He was adventurous and curious when he was younger which sometimes got him into trouble. Now he’s the wise old man. He gets excited when meeting other dogs but after a couple of minutes, he’s done with them, ready to go back home and nap. That said, he will still steal a plush toy if we don’t watch him. He’s been a wonderful pet, a valued family member and we enter him in this year’s contest in honor of his equally wonderful brother, JJ!
