Pet's Story or Bio
Rio is a Covid fur baby! After many Foster dogs, we finally failed and Rio became ours. As soon as the pandemic lifted and offices reopened, we were supposed to move to Chicago and we figured we should take a dog from LA to the Midwest snow. Alas, plans changed and we’re still in LA and try to get Rio to the snow whenever we can.
Rio was found as a stray and then a surrender when his adopters realized he’d be too much for their situation.
We knew immediately he was our boy. Rio is smart and very athletic. He loves to hunt for mice, chase squirrels and catch frisbee (his air leaps are quite impressive).
He loves every human and loves to play with other dogs. He’s such a good dude! We’re extremely thankful to Forte for rescuing him.
