Pet's Story or Bio
I rescued Yoda from the Devore, CA shelter in the Spring of 2012 when he was three months old, just before he was going to be put to sleep. He was the sweetest, friendliest pup, and we originally had planned to just foster him. The rescue that pulled him from the shelter was based in San Diego, which was just too far for us to go to their adoption events, so Forte was kind enough to let us come to their events at the Centinela Feed and Pet Supply. Even though Yoda got lots of attention at the adoption events, he didn't get adopted. Which was a good thing, since he was really meant to be a member of our family. Yes, we were foster failures, and we couldn't be happier. From 5 months of age, we have been members of Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners, (LARPBO) where Yoda received wonderful obedience training, and he is now Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGA and CGCA) certified. Yoda is now 5 years old and lives with me Jody, his mom, my husband Ohann, his Chihuahua buddy Angel, and our cats Cinnamon and Taz. He loves learning new tricks, swimming, playing tug of war, and visiting his buddies at LARPBO. He is one happy, funny, smart, beautiful boy, and we are so blessed to be able to share our lives with him.
