Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should Win
Apache showed up at my house in 2012 on 102° day , I gave him water and shooed him on his way because I thought there’s no way a dog like this could be lost. Somebody will want him back . Then he was found at the farmhouse at the end of the road, and the rest is history as they say. I brought him home and he had numbers from Illinois in Delaware on his chip. I called the Home Again number to no avail. The people said they hung up. I called all the Air Force bases. Nobody knew anything so I ended up keeping him , 11 years later, almost to the day I had to put him down on July 15, 2023. He was the most amazing dog I have ever seen in my life. He would actually give you right paw for yes and treat and bark for yes, give you left paw for milk, swing his head left and right to say no and would jump up and give you a double high five when you asked for one .
He was person in a dog suit and in my opinion, and of course it is biased, he is the epitome of what a Husky should look like. He was Forever Husky’s Calendar Cover Boy in 2022 with an epic picture down at the lake in my back yard.
Patchy is the reason I want a Husky for the rest of my life I talk to them like they are my kids and they seem to know what I am talking about. I have had dogs before but never like these guys. They are truly one of a kind animals.
