Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should Win
Nika (13yo) and Akira (1yo) are sugar and spice and everything nice all wrapped up in a crazy bundle of fur. Nika's endless patience and Akira's playful and obedient nature have helped countless foster dogs (and cats!) get comfortable and learn how to be apart of a family.

Even though Nika is getting older and suffers from DCM (enlarged heart), she surprises us everyday with her sweetness, ability to stay active, being sassier than ever, and using her wisdom to teach other dogs how to play properly.

Akira is spicy, eager to learn, and a very loyal companion. She has spent her whole life surrounded by rescue animals and has been able to adapt from gentle parenting of young puppies to rowdy play with a cane corso.

Forever Husky! I am a newer foster to FH, but I am excited to be apart of the team. Huskies have been apart of my life for the past 13 years and being able to give back and be apart of a husky-based rescue means the world to me and my girls.
