Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should Win
Sophie is a rescue and has been with us for almost 2 years, and is just now starting to come out of her shell. She just recently started to talk and has now started making demands and voicing her disapproval when she doesn’t get her ride or walk when she wants it. It’s so heartwarming to see the rescues blossom and become the happy dogs they deserve to be. She was born with a deformed front foot, but does not let that slow her down in the least bit. We had a brace made for her foot so she can walk better and longer without hobbling; and now she can just go and go and never stop. We just love the inspiration she is to anyone who meets her and sees how well she does with her “funny foot “. I like to describe it like this, especially to kids, instead of calling it a birth defect, because she doesn’t see herself as defective and can show kids that different isn’t wrong.
