This is Buckeye. We adopted him at the age of 14 after his lifetime owner passed away. We lost Buckeye a year later at the age of 15. He was the most beautiful soul we have ever met. We could not believe what a following he had in his old neighborhood. So many wanted to keep up to date with him that a FB page, The Adventures of Buckeye the Wooly Coat Husky, was started. He loved and was loved by so many people and gave them a reason to smile everyday.
No matter where we went, everyone needed to pet him and just love him. And he was so gracious and well mannered with each of them. He took the biggest piece of our hearts with him, even after having him with us for such a short time. We will never forget our big, sweet boy. ❤️

They sacrifice so much of their personal lives to find and reunite lost pets with their families. Going out at all hours of the day, regardless of the weather or inconvenience. And if an animal is in need of a new home, they take such loving care of them until a home can be found. Truly caring, selfless folks. And I can never thank them enough for bringing Buckeye into our lives.
