Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should Win
Xena is a senior girl who has had a rough life. I rescued her from a high kill shelter in WV, where she was dumped by her owner in 2014. I adopted her out as a foster with Pet Helpers to her supposedly forever home in 2015. I followed up on Xena with the adopter to find out she was given away breaking our contract that she would be returned to us. After many posts on Lost and Found sites looking for her, I found her in May of 2016 in a terrible home where she was tied out with a short cord on a dilapidated porch in 90 plus heat with no water. I found out she had been passed from one home to another. I paid the guy who had her to get her back and she is now in her forever home with my husband and I. She will live out the rest of her years with us feeling loved, spoiled and never be tied outside in the heat again.
