Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should Win
This is our special girl Nina. We bought her from a "breeder" and drove over 16 hours to bring her home. We discovered, upon our arrival home, that she had a genetic issue and that the breeder 'had no idea how that could happen'. They offered to come and get her. We said, 'No Way!' We received our money back, and she under went surgery. 6 hours and $5000 dollars later, we feel as though we rescued her from a life time of being locked in a cage, or worse. She's 5 now and despite having only one kidney she's in great health. She is the joy of our lives. This is her in June camping in the mountains of Crested Butte, Colorado. She loves to go!
