Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should WinBorn in a cage at a Korean dog meat farm and destined for a horrible short life, Jayu was given a miracle and a whole new life with the whole factory was shut down and all the dogs rescued in April of 2016. Flown to San Francisco, this beautiful husky mix pup was pulled by rescue and I got her as a foster 6/2016. She was feral to begin with and didn't want anything to do with people. However over the months at my house, lots of love and patience, she socialized and became loving, which led to our adopting her early in 2017. From not even wanting to look at people and cowering from hands, to giving me hand licks, and her favorite spot now laying at my feet and baring her tummy for belly rubs, Jayu is a daily reminder what the power of love can accomplish. Ambassador Jayu and her dad are active in the fight against the dog meat trade and animal cruelty. Plus she is gorgeous and unique (husky, jindo, chow mix).
