Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should WinI met Kodiak (half Husky, half Malamute) when both of our lives were at a low point. I was out of my element, with very few friends in an unfamiliar state and Kodiak was being bounced around from home to home with no regularity. Lacking a fuzzy friend or any friends in my life, I was in a severe state of depression. I met his owner by total chance due to the kind of car I had at the time (a Subaru WRX) and when I heard he needed a forever home, I insisted. Thankfully my girlfriend was raised with Huskies and Kodiak and I quickly became inseparable. This was almost 6 years ago and he's still the weirdo we all fell in love with at almost 10 years old. Kodiak and his weirdness pulled me back from the brink of crushing depression and together we've become best friends. I can't imagine how different life would be without him in my life or how different his life would be without us. Kodiak is a very special soul who imprints on everyone he meets. He's turned people who don't like dogs into people who will give him belly rubs just to see him smile. He absolutely melts around little kids and those brave enough to approach are rewarded with a new best friend.
I've had a lot of dogs in my life, but none of them could ever approach the level of this yodeling weirdo. He's my best friend, fellow cheese addict and lover of strange modified vehicles. What more could one ask for other than a cloning machine? He even loves going to the vet's office, I don't even have to bribe him with treats or a convertible ride.
