Jaxon is truly the light of our lives! We got him after my husband broke his back in a work accident and was stuck home for many months. I fully believe that Jaxon helped his recovery tremendously. Jaxon also most likely saved my life when we were attacked by 2 loose dogs 3 years ago. He took a beating but fought back with every fiber in his being to protect me; and both dogs were easily twice his size. Afterwards, I found myself traumatized and was afraid to go out. I was also afraid that Jaxon's sweet spirit would be affected. But it wasn't. He taught me so much about resilience and forgiveness at that time. His wounds healed, and he helped heal mine too. Jaxon is now part of a dog sled team that helps raise money for rescued Huskies and helps get them to their furever homes. It is a joy to watch him run and be a part of something he was always meant to do. He has brought so much joy and light to some of our darkest years and we could not be more grateful to have him bless our days with so much love.
