Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should Win
My "kids", all rescues, each with their own special personalities and stories! Ripley, who came from a rescue at 3 months old (now 6 years), where her Mom died when she was only 3 weeks old. She is my sweet, pack leader. Somewhat shy with strangers, but totally loyal to her friends and family. Dazzle, who started out as my Foster at 7 months old. He had been hit by a car, (that broke his pelvis in 4 places) when he was only 4 months old, and was left with a signature "hop". Now 5 years old, he is a total love, and has been a Therapy Dog for the last 3 years. Swayze, who was rescued by animal control, and also came to me as a foster at 6 months old. He had "holes" and scars all over and was initially terrified of all other dogs. It was suspected that he was being used as a "bait" dog, explaining his wounds and fear of other pups. He overcame his fears, which I credit to my other pups, and has also been a Therapy dog for the last 2 years. They are my family, and I can't imagine life without any one of them!
