Miss Koda was from a puppy mill. When we got her, the local pet rescue took in all the dogs. We found this out because we were actually going to buy her from a pet store. The rescue called us because we were looking for a puppy, in which they didn't have any. We rushed down, drove 2 hours each way, and got her. We helped 2 others with their fees to rescue her litter mates. Plus we donated money to the rescue that was taking in all the dogs/pups. She was the reason I've become such a dog advocate. I've learned so much from her. She's my baby. Thank goodness that mill was shut down! She has rescued me for sure. She is sweet and loving. She has a soft spot for birdies. She protects them at all costs. When one had died, she grieved for 4 days.
